Prime Minister Raila Odinga will tomorrow embark on a two-day tour of Northern Kenya in a trip that will take him to Upper Eastern and North Eastern parts of the country to undertake an audit of the drought situation in the regions.
Odinga who is expected to lead a high powered delegation including deputy premier Musalia Mudavadi is also scheduled to commission several water projects in the arid region, where most water points dried up since the onset of the phenomena late last year. His itinerary during the two days working tour of the North includes meetings with the local leadership to map ways of improving the living conditions of the pastoral communities.
Among the towns the entourage is enlisted to make stopover for rallies include Garissa, Wajir North, Mandera, Marsabit, North Horr, sololo, Moyale.
