The Prime Minister will tomorrow, Wednesday, July 13, 2011, launch an initiative to speed up the process of change and service delivery in government. The Transforming Kenya Initiative will be launched at the KICC at 10 am.
It aims to initiate the application of 100 Day Rapid Result Initiative across government, with focus in the following three areas:
(i): Structured and coordinated implementation of the provisions of the constitution by all ministries.
(ii): Prioritisation of Vision 2030 flagship projects.
(iii): Transformation of public service delivery.
The idea is that effective focus on these three areas will have positive ripple effects and speed the pace of change in the country.
