The National Elections Board of the Orange Democratic Movement –ODM has with immediate effect revoked the appointment of Councillor Aggrey Dimo Ogolla as the Party’s Coordinator in Siaya County.
In a letter signed by the Board Chairman Eng. Philip Okundi, Councillor Dimo who represents Usigu West Civic Ward in Bondo Constituency is accused of gross misconduct and violation of the party’s election rules.
Eng. Okundi says the Civic Leader released results sheets for the party grassroots elections (suspended yesterday by the party) to Ugenya, Bondo and Rarieda Constituencies in Siaya County without the authority of the National Elections Board.
He said, the forms circulated by Councillor Dimo were fake adding that the correct forms will be issued by the Returning Officer of the County when the party elections are called afresh.
Eng. Okundi urged the ODM Members and supporters in all the Constituencies of Siaya County namely; Ugenya, Alego Usonga, Gem, Rarieda and Bondo not to transact any party business with Councillor Dimo since his appointment as the Coordinator is null and void.
