The program starts at 6.00 pm(arrival and registration), welcome remarks by National Coordinator MDGs Unit Mr. Gideon Mailu (6.30 pm), Permanent Secretary Dr. Edward Sambili’s Opening remarks and highlights on the country’s MDGs current status (6.50 pm), Resident Representative UNDP remarks on accelerating achievement of MDGs-highlights of resolutions from the UN High Level Summit(7.10pm), Remarks by Assistant Minister Hon. Peter Kenneth (7.10 pm), Remarks by Finland Ambassador H.E Heli Sirve (7.30pm).
Hon. Wycliffe Oparanya, Minister of State for Planning, National Development and Vision 2030, will thereafter give key statement and launch the MDGS phase II program .
Dinner will be served after the minister’s address and launch.
