Update
The following is the updated itinerary of the Orange Democratic Movement – ODM Party Leader the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga for this coming weekend through to early next.
Saturday 7/5/11 morning, the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the funeral of the Late Michael Sang at Cheborgei Farm in Kipkaren, Nandi County. In the afternoon, he will attend the burial of the Late Alphonse Mulama at Kongoni Farm, Likuyani District (Soy Division), Kakamega County. The Late Mulama is the father in-law to the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Local Government and Deputy ODM Party Leader, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi.
On Sunday 8/5/11,the Prime Minister and the entire ODM team will be in Ikolomani Constituency to drum up support for the party’s candidate for the vacant seat Mr. Benard Shinali. Mr. Shinali successfully filed a petition challenging the election of Mr. Bonny Khalwale who has represented the area since 2002. Mr. Odinga will be accompanied by his Deputy Hon. Mudavadi, all ODM MPs from Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia and Vihiga Counties and from other parts of the country.
On Tuesday 10/5/11 at 10:00.am, the Prime Minister will be in Kamukunji Constituency where he is scheduled to officially open the ultra modern Grand Royal Hotel situated near the former KBS garage presently the Eastleigh Shopping Mall in Eastleigh. He will thereafter attend a leaders’ meeting at the same hotel before addressing a roadside rally.
